Accessibility Features

It is important for web content to be accessible to everyone. Compliance with Section 508 and W3C’s Guidelines will increase target audience range through increased access to published content. With EditLive!’s accessibility features, users can create content compliant with both Section 508 and W3C’s Guidelines.  Users can choose to utilize the accessibility reports or enable accessibility as you type to locate and correct compliance issues with ease. Save time and streamline the content authoring process with EditLive’s accessibility features.

Ensuring compliant web content is a time consuming process. Having to use a third party accessibility checker after content is created takes time and is extremely inefficient. EditLive!’s accessibility features are built into the web authoring environment eliminating the need for a third party tool. Now users can streamline the content producing process by both creating and checking content all in one web authoring environment.

EditLive!’s Accessibility Reports reveal areas of content that are not compliant and directs users to where correction is needed.  The accessibility reports also provide suggestions on how to correct the compliance issue.  Whether it is Section 508 or WCAG Priority 1 or 2, the accessibility report will give a short explanation of the errors and a recommendation as to how it should be corrected.

Another feature is Accessibility Checking As You Type. Easily see where content is not compliant as you type, allowing users to correct the issues the moment they present themselves,  instead of finding it after content is published.  This capability, built in to the authoring environment, saves users time and eliminates the need to go back and forth trying to locate and correct compliance issues.
